The Bloom & Verse journal exists because the same handful of questions come up on the studio phone every week, and answering them one call at a time is a slow way to help people. So we write them down instead. Every piece here is written by one of the four florists on the bench at Level 6, 341 George Street in Sydney, drawn from what actually happened in the cool room that week rather than from a keyword spreadsheet. No sponsored content, no filler, no ten-thousand-word listicles about flowers you cannot buy in Australia anyway.
Only two pieces for now, and that is deliberate. We would rather publish two useful articles a season than twenty padded ones a month.

Realistic lifespans for the flowers we sell most often, from three days for a soft-petalled poppy up to three weeks for a native build, plus the two-minute routine our florists use to stretch a bouquet its full run.
We do not commission content, we do not use a copywriter, and we do not write about flowers we cannot actually source in Sydney. If a piece is going up, it is because one of us noticed a pattern on the phone that week and decided it was worth writing down properly.

Everyday gifting
Same-day bouquets across the inner ring, tied by hand from whatever looked best at the market that dawn. Three sizes from a coffee-table posy up to a wide sculptural entrance-hall bunch, and every dispatch photographed before it leaves.
Weddings
Full ceremony and reception florals, walked through on site before we quote a single stem. Bridal bouquets, archways, banquet tables, hanging installations and a same-night pack-down with the usable blooms donated.
